How to capture screen in Windows:

There are several methods to take screenshots or screen captures in the Windows operating system.

1- The fastest and default option in Windows is by pressing the “Print Screen” (Print Scrn) key this key is located in the upper right part of the keyboard.

Windows keyboard

After clicking on this key the screen capture is saved in the clipboard, you can paste it in a document, an image editing program, email, etc. by clicking with the right mouse button and “Paste” or using the key combination: Ctrl + V simultaneously.

To capture only the current window and not the rest of the screen you must press the “Alt” and “Print Screen” simultaneously, the capture is stored in the clipboard with which you can paste it as in the previous step.

2- If you use Windows 8 or Windows 10, click on the Windows key and “Print Screen” captures the entire screen and saves it directly in the folder: Images > Screenshots.

3- Using the “Snipping” program: in Windows 7, click on the Windows logo and use the search engine to find the “Snipping” program, drag the cursor across the screen to select the area you want to capture. Once selected you can edit the image, delete part of it, save it on your computer, copy it to the clipboard to paste it into a program or send it directly by email.
