How to put an image or video as background on a Galaxy A55
In this guide we explain how to change the wallpaper on your Samsung Galaxy A55. You can choose from the default wallpapers on the device, download wallpapers or themes from the Samsung theme store, or use your own photos and videos.
In addition, it is possible to customize both the home screen wallpaper and the lock screen wallpaper. Follow the steps detailed below to give your Galaxy A55 a unique touch quickly and easily.
You'll need an image or photo that's at least 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~390 ppi density), so it will display correctly on the Galaxy A55's 6.6 inches, 106.9 cm2 (~85.8% screen-to-body ratio) display.

1- First step:
To access the Samsung Galaxy A55 settings, first locate the gear icon, which should appear on the device's home screen. If you can't find it there, swipe up from the bottom edge of the home screen to open the list of applications. In this list you will find the system search engine; type "Settings".
2- Second step:
Scroll down through the settings until you find the "Wallpaper" section. Click to access it.
3- Third step:
You will see the combination of lock screen and home screen wallpaper that your Samsung Galaxy A55 currently has. You can choose between Samsung Galaxy A55's own wallpapers, downloaded wallpapers, or your own photos and videos. 4- Fourth step:
You will see the gallery of photos and videos of your Samsung Galaxy A55. Tap on the image or video you want to set as your home screen wallpaper or lock screen wallpaper. If you want to go directly to the videos to set an animated wallpaper, tap on "Videos".

7- Seventh step:

A message will appear indicating that the wallpaper has been applied to the Home screen or Lock screen.
