How to put an image as background on a Doogee S61
In this guide we show you how to change the wallpaper on your Doogee S61. You have the option to choose between default wallpapers, both static and animated, or use photos from your gallery to personalize the home and lock screen. Follow our simple steps to give your S61 a new look quickly and to your liking.
You'll need an image or photo that's at least 720 x 1440 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~268 ppi density), so it will display correctly on the S61's 6.0 inches, 92.9 cm2 (~68.2% screen-to-body ratio) display.

This guide has a total of 9 steps.
1- First step:
To access the settings on the Doogee S61, first locate the cogwheel icon, which should appear on the device's home screen. If you can't find it there, swipe up from the bottom edge of the home screen to open the list of applications. In this list you will find the system search engine; type "Settings".
2- Second step:
Scroll down through the settings until you find the "Wallpaper" section. Tap to access it.
3- Third step:
You will see the combination of lock screen and home screen wallpaper that your Doogee S61 currently has. Tap on "Change wallpaper" to continue.
4- Fourth step:
You can choose between the Doogee S61' own wallpapers, live wallpapers or your own photos. In this case, we are going to explain how to set a photo as wallpaper.
5- Fifth step:
If this is the first time you change the wallpaper, a message will appear asking for permission to access the photos and videos on the Doogee S61. Press "Allow" to continue and choose a photo from your gallery as your wallpaper.
6- Sixth step:
Select the folder where you have the photo or image you want to set as a wallpaper. If you have downloaded the image, click on the "Downloads" folder. If it is a photo taken from the Doogee S61 itself, click on "Photos".
7- Seventh step:
Tap on the image you want to set as your home screen wallpaper or lock screen wallpaper.
8- Eighth step:
You can adjust the image by zooming or moving it so that it appears in the right place on the home screen. When you are done, click on the "OK" button or the check mark that appears at the bottom right of the screen.
9- Ninth step:
A message will appear with two options: you can set the image as the wallpaper of the lock screen only or have it appear on both the home screen and the lock screen. Tap on the option you prefer.
You can go back and repeat the process to choose another photo or choose between the static and animated backgrounds that come installed on the Doogee S61 for the home screen or lock screen.
