How to update the THL T6C system
Every so often, mobile device manufacturers release software updates. Some of these updates are exclusively security updates, and sometimes updates are released that include new features, improvements, bug fixes, or changes in the operating system version.
Keeping your THL updated is key to improving performance, security, and accessing new features.
In this tutorial, we will explain how to manually update your THL T6C. Keep in mind that some manufacturers like THL may add a layer of customization and pre-installed applications to the software updates.
We recommend updating while it is charging, locked, or overnight.
The T6C comes factory-installed with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

This guide has a total of 8 steps.
1- First step:
To access the settings of the THL T6C, first locate the gear icon, which should appear on the device's home screen. If you don't find it there, swipe up from the bottom edge of the home screen to open the app list. In this list, you will find the system search; type "Settings".
2- Second step:
Scroll down through the settings until you find the "System" section. Tap to access.
3- Third step:
In the "System" section, you will find a section called "System Update".
4- Fourth step:
If there is no update available for your THL T6C, the message "Your system is up to date" will appear. Otherwise, you will find a message indicating that there is a new update available or the "Check for update" button.
5- Fifth step:
Wait a few seconds for the check for available updates to complete.
6- Sixth step:
The software version available for download will appear on the screen along with the changes that have been included in this update. Scroll down to find the "Download and Install" or simply "Download" button.
The download will take several minutes or even hours, depending on the size of the update, the connection speed, and the availability of the server from which it is being downloaded.
7- Seventh step:
You can exit and continue using your THL T6C while the download completes, once it's completed you will receive a notification. If you don't receive it, return and check the process. Once the download is complete, the "Install Now" button will appear.
8- Eighth step:
Again, you can go out and continue using your THL T6C while the installation is completed. You will again receive a notification informing you that the installation has been completed and that a restart is necessary.
You can restart manually, restart from the notification, or go back and press the "Restart Now" button.
Repeat the process every few months to keep your THL T6C updated.
