1- First step:
To access the settings of the Lava O2, first locate the gear icon, which should appear on the device's home screen. If you don't find it there, swipe up from the bottom edge of the home screen to open the app list. In this list, you will find the system search; type "Settings".
2- Second step:
Scroll down through the settings until you find the "System" section. Tap to access.
3- Third step:
In the "System" section, you will find a section called "System Update".
4- Fourth step:
If there is no update available for your Lava O2, the message "Your system is up to date" will appear. Otherwise, you will find a message indicating that there is a new update available or the "Check for update" button.
5- Fifth step:
Wait a few seconds for the check for available updates to complete.
6- Sixth step:
The software version available for download will appear on the screen along with the changes that have been included in this update. Scroll down to find the "Download and Install" or simply "Download" button.
The download will take several minutes or even hours, depending on the size of the update, the connection speed, and the availability of the server from which it is being downloaded.
7- Seventh step:
You can exit and continue using your Lava O2 while the download completes, once it's completed you will receive a notification. If you don't receive it, return and check the process. Once the download is complete, the "Install Now" button will appear.
8- Eighth step:
Again, you can go out and continue using your Lava O2 while the installation is completed. You will again receive a notification informing you that the installation has been completed and that a restart is necessary.
You can restart manually, restart from the notification, or go back and press the "Restart Now" button.
