How to take a screenshot or screen capture on an Xpad

One essential feature of modern tablets is the ability to take screenshots, capturing an image of what is currently displayed on your Infinix Xpad's screen.

Although there are apps for this function, you don’t need to install any additional ones, as it’s already built into the Android 14, XOS 14 operating system.

Taking a screenshot allows you to save a WhatsApp conversation, a Tinder message, an Instagram story, a Facebook photo, or a video frame directly to your Infinix device's memory.

First method:

If you want to make a screenshot to your Infinix Xpad you have to follow these simple steps:

Estimated time: 2 minutes.

1- First step:

First, go to the screen that you want to capture a screenshot of on your Infinix Xpad, whether it's a web page, chat, or application.

2- Second step:

Open the Wear OS app on your phone. Click on the icon in the top right that has three points as an image and that opens a menu with different options. Click on Make a screenshot of wearable. An application send message appears to the smartwatch Infinix Xpad and the result of the screenshot on your terminal will be stored, with another floating warning appearing at the bottom of the screen.

3- Third step:

The captured image is automatically saved in the gallery of your tablet Infinix X1101.

You can find the image gallery on the home screen. It typically has a photo or instant photo icon. Depending on the software version installed, your image gallery application might be Google Photos. If that's the case, look for an icon resembling a four-pointed star made of paper, with each point in a different color.

4- Fourth step:

Open the image gallery, the images and photos will appear sorted by date, click on the capture that you just made on your Xpad, and you will be able to edit it, trim it or send it to your contacts or through your preferred social network.

If you cannot use the physical buttons of the Infinix Xpad because they are broken or you do not want to use them because it is a problem for you to press both buttons at the same time to take the screenshot, there is an alternative so you can continue taking screenshots without the power and volume buttons that we tell you about below:

1- First step:

Go to the screen or application you want to capture the screen on your Infinix.

2- Second step:

Display the quick access or settings bar of your Infinix Xpad. To do this, slide your finger down from the top of the screen, the shortcuts to device settings will be displayed.

3- Third step:

Press the screenshot icon, if you don't see the icon, swipe down again to display the full panel.
If you can't see this icon, you may need to add it to the shortcuts panel.

4- Fourth step:

The captured image is automatically saved in the gallery of your Infinix phone or tablet.

How to capture a full page in Infinix Xpad?

To take a screenshot with scrolling on a web page, a WhatsApp conversation or any other application of your Infinix Xpad take the screenshot with the method indicated above, when taking the screenshot the capture will appear and the screenshot menu for a few seconds at the bottom.

Before it disappears, click on the "Capture more" icon and an editing menu will appear where you can select up to what point on the screen you want to capture.

Once the screenshot is complete, it will be saved in the Xpad's image gallery, where you can edit and share it on social networks.
