Last update: iPhone / iPad
Perhaps you have wondered if it is possible to increase the size of the letters and icons on your iPhone or iPad and the answer is yes, for years Apple has offered in its settings the possibility of increasing or reducing the size of the font and make the text bold to increase its visibility and readability.
By increasing the size of the text, we immediately improve the readability of the screen. This is especially useful for people with visual impairments, but it is also a great advantage for any user. Larger and clearer texts reduce eye strain, especially important when we spend long hours browsing, reading emails or messages.
For older users, this feature is a relief for their eyes. Presbyopia, a natural aging eye condition, makes it difficult to read small text. By enlarging the text, these devices become much more accessible and easier to use.
Additionally, adjusting the text size is a way to customize the user experience to their specific needs. In a world where each user has unique preferences, the ability to modify the interface is one way to ensure that technology is inclusive and accessible to everyone.
In terms of usability, larger text can also help prevent errors. It's easier to identify and select elements on the screen, which is crucial when using apps with multiple functions and buttons.
Another benefit is the improvement in the reading experience. Whether reading an e-book, browsing the web, or reviewing documents, larger text makes it easier to understand and more enjoyable to read.

Step 3:
In the “Display & brightness” section we will find several settings for the screen brightness and the section we are looking for “Text size”, click on this setting to access the text size selector.
Step 4:
Once inside the 'Text size' section, at the top you will find an example text that shows the current size of the content. At the bottom, there is a slider bar with a circle. Move this circle to the right to increase the dimension of the text and to the left to reduce it.
You will notice how the example text changes size, allowing you to verify if the letter scale is appropriate. Once the size has been adjusted, you can return to the previous menu by pressing the 'Back' button, located at the top left of the screen.

Another adjustment you can make to make the text more visible is to make the text bold, this way the letters will increase in thickness making them easier to see.
