The first iPhone with 5G connectivity was the iPhone 12 family, which includes the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models.
5G technology came as the great promise of speed and better data connection on our mobile devices, but after several years of implementation we have been able to verify that it was just another excuse to encourage users to renew their terminals and try to convert making previous devices obsolete.
Now we hope that the next generation of mobile data is not the disappointment that 5G has been. If you notice that your new iPhone takes longer to download data or open application content, it may be because you have it activated the 5G connection and you should return to 4G.
The settings to change from 5G to 4G are a bit hidden and are not easy to find even using the iPhone's own search engine, luckily for you I have made a step-by-step guide with images that you will have no problems with. change the connection from 5G to 4G or vice versa.
Estimated time: 2 minutes.
Step 1:
To begin, open your iPhone settings, look for the gray icon with gears on the home screen.
Step 2:
Go down through the settings to the "Mobile data" section and press to access.
Step 3:
Within the "Mobile data" section you will find a section called "Options", click on this section to continue.
Step 4:
You will see a section called "Voice and data" and to the right the type of connection you have activated will appear. Click to modify the type of connection.
Step 5:
Once inside the Voice and data options you can choose between changing the 5G connection to the 4G connection or setting automatic 5G. In my case, none of the 5G options have worked correctly for me, I get faster speeds and a better connection with 4G. Press the option you want and you can exit the settings.
There are no questions yet about "Disable 5G on iPhone- Change network"; you can write the first one.
