The shortcut panel of a Xiaomi mobile phone or tablet, also known as the "switch panel", is an interface that allows users to quickly access certain functions and settings of the device. This panel is generally accessed by swiping down from the top of the screen.
This panel usually includes shortcuts to settings such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screenshot, airplane mode, screen brightness, and sometimes additional tools such as flashlight, timer, read codes QR or Do Not Disturb mode. The exact layout and functions may vary depending on the phone manufacturer, region or country, and operating system version.
In the case of Xiaomi devices, the button to edit the icons and its position is different from other brands of Android devices, the place where the icons to add and the icons already available in the panel appear is also different.

Step 1:
First open the quick access panel, also known as the switch panel of your Xiaomi smartphone or tablet.
To open it you must slide your finger from the top right of the screen down until you see it appear.
Step 2:
When the quick access or switches panel has been displayed, you will see that two icons appear at the top right, one for settings and another for editing. The editing icon is the icon of a square with a transversal line that symbolizes a paper and a pencil, click on this button to start editing the switches.
Step 3:
At the top the icons of switches or shortcuts to functions that you currently have activated appear, at the bottom the icons or switches available to add will appear. Click on the + icon of a switch to add it to the quick access panel.
Step 4:
You can change the order in which the icons appear, to do so simply click on an icon and hold while dragging it to the position you want and release. You can move and arrange all the icons to place them in the position you prefer and that is most comfortable for you, for example I usually order by putting the icons that I use most frequently first.
You can also eliminate switches by clicking on them. red icon above each switch, the deleted switches will go to the available list below.
Step 5:
Once you have finished adding or removing switches, click on the “Done” button at the top right of the screen.
