Mobile phones and tablets of the Samsung brand usually come from the factory with pre-installed applications, also called bloatware, which are not always useful or we do not need and we can delete to free up space and so that they are not working in the background and therefore collecting information and consuming battery.
Not all manufacturer-installed apps can be uninstalled, some can only be disabled.
In the following steps we give you the instructions to uninstall apps from your Samsung mobile phone or tablet.
Estimated time: 5 minutes.
Step 1:
First we access the Samsung device settings, it is the gear icon. If you don't see it on the home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure it's there.
Step 2:
We go down through the settings towards the middle part approximately until we find the section called "Applications". Click to access the list of installed applications.
Step 3:
The list of apps installed on the Samsung device will appear, both the system's own applications and those that we have installed through Google Play, Galaxy Store or an apk. We click on the application that we want to delete.
Step 4:
The options available for this application will appear at the bottom of the screen, click on "Uninstall" if it is available to remove it.
Step 5:
A confirmation message will appear to prevent us from deleting an application by mistake if we have accidentally pressed. Click "Accept" if we agree with the removal of the application from the Samsung device.
As mentioned at the beginning, there are applications that cannot be removed as they belong to the operating system; these applications can only be disabled as described in one of the related articles you will find below.
