Set up mail in Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max

1- First step:

To set up an email account at iPhone 12 Pro Max you must first go to the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max settings, it is the gear icon on your Apple.

2- Second step:

We go down a bit through the iPhone 12 Pro Max settings and look for the section called “Mail” in previous versions of the operating system to iOS 14 it appears as “Passwords and accounts”. Press to access.

3- Third step:

We look for the “Accounts” section and click on it to access all the accounts configured on our Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max.

4- Fourth step:

All the email accounts configured on our iPhone 12 Pro Max will appear, both active and inactive, if it is the first email account that you configure on your Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max you will see this empty list. Click on “Add email account”.

8- Eighth step:

What differentiates an IMAP account from a POP or POP3?

In “Username” enter your email account and in the next section write the password for your email account.

10- Tenth step

In “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER”, in the “Hostname” section you must enter the outgoing server usually smtp.yourserver.com (changing yourserver.com for your domain) in any case consult with your mail provider the configuration.
In “Username” enter your email account again and in the next section enter the password of your email account once more.

11- Step eleven

“Mail” will appear active by default and “Notes” will appear deactivated, if you only want to configure the mail, leave it as it appears and finally press “Save” to finalize the configuration of your mail in your iPhone 12 Pro Max.
